Hong Kong is the only common law jurisdiction within China. To register a Hong Kong Company, you only need to meet the following minimal requirement:
Shareholder – One
Director – One
Share Capital – One share at HK$1
a Hong Kong Registered Office address
a Hong Kong based Company Secretary
The law do NOT require you to be physically present in Hong Kong to do the registration. In other words, a 21st century service provider can make use of electronic and digital means to complete the whole registration, including the authentication of your identity and documents for the purpose of Anti-money Laundering (AML).
